Dreams

We all have dreams. Secret desires and hidden hopes that drive us on and motivate us. Beautiful dreams that make life worth living amid the squalor of human existence.

But sometimes those dreams seem so far away. So unachievable. So hard. We strive and we do our best but sometimes they just slip through our fingers. So near, yet so far.

How much do we owe our dreams? What sacrifices are we willing to make to grasp that which we desire the most?

Dreams. So beautiful, yet so fragile. So tangible, yet so ethereal. So full of hope, yet so capable of despair.

As humans, we are bound by our dreams, our hopes and our fears. Moving us, inspiring us, touching us, guiding us. They are our reasons for living.

But he who has much to gain, has also much to lose.

Scary, isn't it?

"Sometimes to do the right thing, we must give up that which we desire most, even our dreams."- Peter Parker, Spiderman 2.

Hey,it's just like asking, "Is it better to have loved and lost, or to have never loved at all?"

Dreams. All worthy things come with a sacrifice, huh? =)

"No sacrifice, no victory!" - Capt' Archibald Witwicky (Is that how you spell it?)

Peter Parker said that? I thought his Aunt May said it. No pun intended, May ;)

Hey Pan, dreams are neat and all, as long as we don't live in dreams, it's alright. Maybe I can sum this paragraph up in a sentence:

Make dreams reality; not reality a dream.

Hope you're well. We're all fine back home, and we still miss you.

May: It's true that all worthy things come with a sacrifice. The question is how much each of us is willing to sacrifice to achieve his or her dreams.

Shaun: Good point, and yes, both Peter Parker and Aunt May said that. I'm doing fine here, hope you guys are too.

JH: Haha, I did try to be nice to her, but i didn't think it was appropriate to "lend her a shoulder to cry on" or anything. Se you this winter.

We will perish if we have no dreams. Dreams are the driving forces behind all human accomplishments! We come out with brilliant ideas on problem solving when we go to bed thinking about the problem and dreaming about how to tackle it! So keep dreaming! Never stop dreaming!
